hello gorgeous is a glossy magazine about living with HIV, produced by people with HIV and others directly involved with them. Everyone who works on the magazine offers their services for no commercial gain.
It’s published by the hello gorgeous foundation, whose aim it is to normalize living with HIV by fighting stigma.
Launched in late 2012, hello gorgeous is mainly distributed free of charge through HIV treatment centres in the Netherlands. We are delighted to present you with our English editions, digital compilations of translated articles.

hello gorgeous – hello queen 2025
This unique edition, subtitled This is me, highlights the lives of women with HIV in 2025. The glossy magazine, with four different covers, has 80 pages and includes articles, columns, cultural offerings, a photo reportage and a list of useful addresses. All articles are accompanied by a shortened translation in English.
The editorial team was put together especially for the magazine and consists of three women with HIV, the editor-in-chief and two editorial staff members from the Hello Gorgeous foundation. The magazine has a distinctly positive tone and image, with the aim of breaking down taboos and dispelling the negative image of HIV that still prevails.
In a beautiful photo reportage, four women with HIV show what gives them strength.
